Adblock Plus is an excellent extension for Firefox that stops unwanted pop ups but you still have numerous distracting text ads on various pages. That is where the Element Hiding Helper extension comes in. Using it will allow you to block nearly any aspect of a page, such as the text ad above your inbox in Gmail or any other site so you can concentrate more on what you need to instead of ads.

RegCure and most other such programs are scams. They may even install malicious software. An easy way to confirm is by Googling for “RegCure scam” and “RegCure spyware” and other such terms. You’ll find discussions online as people try to sort out the headache Regcure causes or experts analyze Regcure.
