Kris Hi.

I downloaded your PcSecretFormula last weekend and worked with it over the weekend.

I did find it both interesting and reasonable easy to use. However i also purchased another program called Driver Detctive.

Now i am going to be really honest here as between your program and this detective thing my system became infected with not one but two trojan horses and 2 other viruses.
I also use a paid version of AVG firewall and anti virus software. IT DID NOT pick it up coming into the computer but did catch them on the next run of their software.

Now the reason i am telling you this is because one of the programs you suggest using Evid4226patch223d-en was also tagged by AVG as being infected and will not install into my PC.

Apart from that i think everything else worked good and i did see an immediate increase in my internet speed though has not continued.

I used the run AVG free Ed. -no more.

I tried the demo of AVG Internet Security Suite Pro.

I got several trojans, which it wouldn’t even do anything with.

Neither would LLavasoft Adaware,or Spybot.

Thankfully,I was able to download a demo of Counter Spy and it not only got rid of them,it found even more!

Lately,I;m trying the demo of their NEW VIPER AV sofware(I’m going to unistall ESET Internet Security Suite so I can install the Sun Belt Firewall -and set Viper to active!)….

Viper is REALLY low on AV resources and as I say Counter Spy is awesome!

Hey.don’t take my word for it -try the 15 day demo!

Thanks for the awesome tips. I got the book when it first came out and been receiving the update emails regularly just to make sure I get some good tips.

But this video is really cool that it clarifies the myths that exist out there, thanks for the clarities.

Hi, Kris

Liked the videos man, excellent stuff.

I wonder if you can tell me if the emails i keep receiving with the 50% discount is the same PCSecretFormula as i have already purchased with the videos and extras.

I ask because if it is indeed a new version, i was thinking of purchasing it as i find the one i purchased already absolutely mind blowing. Please let me know soon as, either by posting a reply here or emailing me.

Thanks for a great product that delivers brilliantly.

Hi Kris:

Thanks for your latest video about speeding up the bootup time. I’m going to do that as soon as I finish this note.

You wanted feedback and suggestions. Here’s mine:

I’ve got into a situation were I’ve got way, way too many gadgets and lines up on the top part of my screen. As accurately as I can describe it, I’ve got

Title Bar

the bar with the forward backward arrows

the Google bar

then a bar with only 3 icons on it, one of which is Snagit

then a bar that has my del.icio.us, tiny url, Convert with Zamar, etc on it….plus another 3 or 4 tools.

Then I’ve got my dictionary.com com bar (which I use a lot)

then I’ve got my clipmarks.com bar (which I hardly ever use although I liked the idea of it when I read about it.

Then I’ve got a bar that only has my Google notes icon on it

Then I’ve got my tab bar which also has, on the left, something that I think is my IE favorites stars (two of them).

And I can’t even find where the heck my ‘favorites’ tab is (I use Classic Clipboard mostly for that…and del.icio.us)

So as you can see, I’m wasting a lot of space. But I don’t know how to manange off this crap. Can you help?

I’m going to try to send you a Snaggit by regular email too.

Best regards,
Art

p.s. I teach Englihs in S.Korea. It’s lots of fun and the demand is wide open. Here’s my link if somebody would like some help.(www.asknow.ca/teach)

You said the url to get boot optimiser was under the video but it’s nowhere to be found !!!!!

11 Steve October 6, 2008 at 10:52 pm

Young people are more adaptable at understand acronims and Pc jargon. Kris made things pretty simple. I had a few issues. I also ran AVG free edition and immediately had problems. A trojan was found when I later ran Counter-spy. The e-mail support is appreciated, but they seem to be mostly duplicates of info for pc secret formula which i purchased. Hats off to Kris for is entrepreneurial enterprize!

I just watched your first video, thanks for your tips. I really do think those registry cleaners don’t work so good after all. My antiviral program being used now are ,AVG(i know its not that good) bit defender, windows defender. my browser is firefox, my internet connection is fast.thank you for your videos. how good is bit defender?

13 Gary Edwards October 8, 2008 at 3:12 am

I liked all the videos i saw so far. They are very informative, i couldn’t believe that you had the secret to a fast computer. I am soooooooooooooooooooo glad right now. I am pleased with my internet connection, i used the Evid4226patch223d patch with firetune and tcp optimizer. so my internet is gr8. My computer moves at a good speed i would say, im using a GB of RAM 1.80GHZ pentium 4 processor. firefox dosen’t open instantly but it does move fast, im sure you have tricks to help make the whole computer run faster(Forgot, i also have a lot of registry errors!)but the computer works fine never the less, but i do hate errors.

14 John Taberner October 9, 2008 at 2:02 am

I cannot agree with you more about Registry cleaners.

They “ARE” a waste of money.

I purchased a reg cleaner call MAX registry cleaner. Yes it found some left over dirt in the registry and cleared them out (Or said it did). Then i ran a test from two other so-called registry cleaners and both the test runs found in one case 1450 loose entries and the other found over 2500.

So just how good are these things when your PC tells you you have “RunTime errors” even after running these things which lead you on to think that their software can and will rectify the problems.

15 Kay Brenner October 9, 2008 at 7:21 pm

I completely understand your points about PC maintenance. However, if you leave this to the experts, they will take care of this for you and have a great deal of expereince in solving most PC problems, which would take the average person hours to do. Likewise, most of us could easily change the oil and oil filters on our cars, but this its too messy, time consuming and frankly I think most folks have better things to do. The same could be said for PC maintenance

16 John Bandy October 11, 2008 at 10:55 pm

Hey Kris,

You always have good tips. I know you know what you are talking about. My PC was so slow, it was slower than dial-up. I got your PC Tune-up and it made it like new.Have a great day.

Thanks, Kris, for the information on various speedup software. I see the only speed you get from the sellers and/or developers is the speed of your money from you to them.

19 Michelle October 17, 2008 at 2:32 am

Thanks for the good videos. I want to know of ways to improve & do maintenance my computer! I wrote down the name: pcselfhelp.net/startup. I’m using Comodo Firewall Pro, check them out. It’s free & full version.

Hey Kris,

Your ebooks and videos are stellar! I am a ‘pseudo geek’ meaning I was married to an uber geek for nine years, so I know enough to be dangerous. I am so glad to have found you. Keep up the excellent work, Firefox is running very fast, the boot and shut down are running fast as well. I have been posting my affiliate link around and telling people to get the ebook. It is really great; I was always afraid of messing with the registry, but now with your directions, I can.

Many thanks!

nice video, I did have a little piece of software called Tune XP on my old Windows XP based computer and the tweaks on that improved the overall performance a bit, but the bad thing is, it doesn’t work on Vista at all and alot of other software out there that claim to boost the performance of your PC are exactly as you said, they don’t help at all, they’re a con and just waste even more space on our hard drives.

26 Radha Krishnan March 26, 2009 at 10:31 pm

Hi Kris.
Your tips are excellent and have been a great help to me,However I do have a funny problem on my computer. Every time I switch on my computer I get a pop up showing I/O error status of ”0 xc000009c”.with the function to click ok to terminate the program and click on cancel to to debug the program. My local technician tells to format the computer. What is your suggestion?.Secondly I can only access the internet and I cant access the other applications.

Kris,
Your videos are awesome much knowledge can be had from watching them keep them coming. But i have one issue instant restart at least once or twice a day my pc will all of a sudden shut down then reboot itself damn its annoying.

29 Thomas April 10, 2009 at 7:12 am

Hi Kris, your download on “THE SECRETS THAT MOST PEOPLE WILL NEVER KNOW ETC,” is a boon to me, as my 79 year old grey matter, aint what it used to be, all i have to do is follow the instuctions, great, my startup time is so much quicker, I have not downloaded all so far as I have to take my time, BUT, i’m plodding on,and getting results, many thanks for something that actually works, must get my daughter to get in on the act, many, many thanks, Thomas.

30 Lawrie Bowen April 10, 2009 at 4:52 pm

Liked the videos, but confused about the pricing of PC secret formulae which I can see at 29.95 dollars at one part and 9.95 in another. Is there something I am not understanding?

31 Kris Mainieri April 10, 2009 at 7:13 pm

Where did you see it for $9.97?

37 Erdman Klassen August 24, 2009 at 3:41 pm

Kris:
I am interested in your product, because of past experiences I am very cautious. If it is recommended by PC World my comfort level rises considerably. I have also installed a powerful c leaning tool Evidence Eliminator, and Virus protection Kaspersky,s. Could these be in conflict with your software?

Kris, I’ve used just about every FREE tip you’ve posted… every single one has worked wonders! And the tip by Patrick was primo!
Then I replaced my 256k RAM stick with a 1G Ram stick that my Son in Oregon sent me (I am in Mid-Cal) and… VOILA! SUPER REAL SPEED!!! Even though there are more than 1,800,000 Folders/files on my Dell 2400 – XP. In fact it’s scary… smokin’ is a good description!
I’m a cheapskate so I look forward to your FREE tips…Thank You so very much!
