    Hi, Kris!

Am very much interested in getting your complete instruction, but when I tried to carry out the payment I was unable to find the name of the country I am now living (Libya) in the dropdown list of your payment processor.

Btw, I am Indonesian working for a living in Tripoli. I come from Jakarta, South East Asia. I am wondering what’ s the reason for such a discrimination? I heard USA embassy (rep office?) is available in town.

Any other payment method I can take to get the e-book? Pls advise.

    Kris,
I got the Ultimate Defrag ran and it helped some, but not a lot. I have 74g on a 80g drive.
I then went through and move a bunch of misc files to another drive. I removed some files I don\\\’t use(Apple snuck one in that was about 74 meg) hint go through your program list and look for programs that you very seldom use.
However I read in the Help section of UD about putting programs you do not use that often in archive, in the center of the hardrive disc. I did that, It took about 3 days running in the background for the computer to do that but it made a HUGE diff. Thanks a lot Kris, I appreciate all your tips.

    Hi,

CCleaner is a good product and part of my existing toolset.

However the installation of the Yahoo toolbar is enabled by defualt, you have to ‘Opt Out’ by unticking the box. If I remember correctly it also tries to change the users homepage setting.

These options are easily overlooked if you’re in a hurry, such techniques verge on the malicious.

Comodo Anti Virus reports that PC Decrapifier has a virus, this may be a false positive, but in any
event I did not install the product.

Boot Optimizer appears to force a defrag at start up. Checking on a regular basis whether defragging is required is a good idea. I use my Pc on a daily basis and rarely need to defrag more than once every 10 days.

Consequently, I believe the benefit of of defragging on every start up would be very slight.

I haven’t used Ultimate Defrag yet so I dont know whetter its any better than the WindowsXP default process.

  17. Rosemarie says:

HELP! When I try to download a file from the Internet to my computer, the download appears to be working perfectly – UNTIL it reaches 99% and then it just stops. I have tried “Save” and “Run” but the result is the same – nothing! In some instances the download window shows 0% and it just stops there. I have checked for Virus, Trojans, spyware, malware, and just about everything I can get my hands on. It is not a space problem, the hard drive is less than 50% full. The process does not consume all the memory, I’ve checked that.

I welcome any and all comments and ideas. I thank you in advance for your assistance!

  24. Robert says:

Thanks for all the tips. CCCleaner isn’t free. In fact they hack me off. I put CC on my computer at work. Every time I want to run it itPiroform wanta me to pay miore money for an upgrade.By the way, the upgrade costs as much as the original. Piroform is in England, but maybe on the continent, I’m not sure, I think it costs pounds or euros, I don’t femember, but I paid for the first download, and it converted to $ and I ran it,and things worked out great. A week went by ans I decided to run it again. Well, unless I pay more money for the upgrade each time I run it, it won’t clean up my junk.
