Thanks for all the tips. CCCleaner isn't free. In fact they hack me off. I put CC on my computer at work. Every time I want to run it itPiroform wanta me to pay miore money for an upgrade.By the way, the upgrade costs as much as the original. Piroform is in England, but maybe on the continent, I'm not sure, I think it costs pounds or euros, I don't femember, but I paid for the first download, and it converted to $ and I ran it,and things worked out great. A week went by ans I decided to run it again. Well, unless I pay more money for the upgrade each time I run it, it won't clean up my junk.

Hi Kris,

As promised, I said I would let you know how PC Secret Formula worked for me.
All other issues aside..."business is business".......It worked excellent....got no probs with it at all.
However, I'm having another prob now......the shut-down speed is very, very SLOW !
Got any tips for that ???

Regards,
Daniel,

HELP! When I try to download a file from the Internet to my computer, the download appears to be working perfectly - UNTIL it reaches 99% and then it just stops. I have tried "Save" and "Run" but the result is the same - nothing! In some instances the download window shows 0% and it just stops there. I have checked for Virus, Trojans, spyware, malware, and just about everything I can get my hands on. It is not a space problem, the hard drive is less than 50% full. The process does not consume all the memory, I've checked that.

I welcome any and all comments and ideas. I thank you in advance for your assistance!
